My name is Jennifer Mary Lehm and I live in Denmark, although I was born and bred in Northen England.
I trained at Art College in the UK and as a kindergarten teacher as well as an Art and Design tutor in Denmark. I am now retired from teaching young people and adults at Technical college.
I spend a lot of time drawing on paper and on fabric.
I use either free machine embroidery (called FME) and free hand embroidery, the latter being very mediative. I am often inspired by nature on travels or out walking or maybe the vegetables bought for dinner. I am also fascinated by the wear and tear of the man made world; old buildings, disused harbours, peeling paint or cracks on paving stones.
