I have been looking for the fabric and thread I will need for my harbour pieces. The expected size is approximately A4. I always work with my fabric stash on the right hand side of the sewing machine, to use as my selection of paints together with my threads to use as my pens. On the left of the sewing machine is my inspiration, drawing or painting, which I refer to as I sew. I do not aim for an exact copy, but to achieve a likeness and the atmosphere of the original.
