Denmark is a pretty flat country but there are, nevertheless, many beautiful places to visit. Being a group of islands means there are many beaches and plenty of sea, but the landscape itself is also very pretty in many areas. We are fortunate to live near The Deer Park, north of Copenhagen. A large recreational area, where the forest is, pretty much, left to its own device
This drawing was done there and inspired the stitched piece – which also includes some needle felting to add depth to the image.
