I have been following Karen’s online guidelines for making a concertina sketchbook.
I have started on some loose paper and have probably gone a bit over the top – trying out all the techniques!! I have been working with ideas from a homemade sketchbook I called Urban Patterns and which I worked in to, from an area with old empty buildings on the outskirts of Copenhagen. I will show some pages from the sketch book at a later date.
My kind friend Frances has sent me a concertina sketchbook from the UK – so that will be the next project. I have loads of drawings from Italy so I think this will be my new theme – and hopefully a bit lighter and brighter than these trial and error pieces.
