The titel here may seem a bit contradictory , but I like the serendipity and contrasts that are integrated into these images. The first is from a bulding where the beautiful rotting stonework and peeling paint is met by man’s pencil notes. The second is actually a tree stub showing some mark-making made by an electric chain saw.
