Concertina sketchbook SEW much fun

I have started on a new concertina sketchbook, that I have made out of heavy watercolour paper. This is a bit different from the previous books and based around sewing objects and ephemera. After glueing in some pattern pieces and some old magasine illustrations I have drawn or painted everything else. A bit of a challenge, but good fun.

The red thread is a metaphore in Danish for continuity – deriving from when a red thread ran through the rope used by the military. The “thread” will continue throughout the book.
