I have started on “A sketchbook Journey” on-line, lead by the amazing British artist Douglas Andersen. this will last for a year, with a new prompt each month. July was “Look down and look closer” I have been working in my sketchbook from my collection of pebbles, stones and shells. The stones, I have drawn, on the left were collected on the Danish Island called langeland. For the right hand page I have made a rubbing from a hand made stencil, on a prepared background, using graphite and then erased the lines.
