For this A3 page in my sketchbook, I have used multiple techniques. First I made a graphite rubbing from a piece of textured wallpaper. I added dribbles of diluted ink and stenciled sunflowers from a commercial stencil in positive and negative versions. Strips of wrapping paper and pieces of tissue paper plus descriptions of sunflowers from and old (tatty) book about flowers were then glued on to the page. The coloured drawing is taken from another sketchbook and added towards the end.
